Answer: Start with one. Grow to many. We have no minimum. Most clients start with 1-2 people and add more as they see the value. You can hire or pause anytime—there are no long-term contracts.

About the roles and Hiring

Question 3: What if I only need someone part-time?

Answer: We primarily offer full-time dedicated employees (40 hours/week).

Question 4: Can I change the role later if my needs change?

Answer: Yes. If your new team member isn’t the right fit or if your business needs change, we can help you transition. You’re not locked in.

Question 5: How quickly can I hire?

Answer: Typical hiring timeline is 3-4 weeks from initial call to first day of work. This includes discovery, recruiting, screening, your interviews, and onboarding.

ABOUT TIME ZONES & COMMUNICATION

Question 6: What time does my employee work?

Answer:9 AM – 5 PM your timezone (EST, CST, PST, etc.). When you’re working, they’re working. When you send them a task at 5 PM, they’ll have it done by morning.

Question 7: Will my employee work Canadian/US business hours?

Answer:Yes. This is core to our model. Your employee works YOUR hours, not India hours. This is a major difference from traditional offshore outsourcing where you have 12-hour delays.

Question 8: What if I need help at 2 AM?

Answer:That’s outside normal hours, but your employee can respond to emergency messages (we encourage them to set boundaries). For non-emergencies, tasks can wait until their next shift. Most clients don’t need 24/7 support—the real-time overlap is enough.

Question 9: How do I communicate with someone in India?

Answer:Same tools you use with any remote employee: Slack, Teams, email, Zoom. The 9 AM – 5 PM overlap means synchronous communication feels natural. No async delays or scheduling headaches.

Question 10: What about language barriers?

Answer: We prescreen all candidates for English proficiency. Our hires are fluent in English with good communication skills. You’ll have no trouble understanding them or vice versa. If language concerns you, we’ll set up a video call so you can assess directly.

ABOUT EMPLOYMENT & LEGALITY

Question 11: Who is the legal employer?

Answer:LetsChat24x7 (our India office). We handle all employment documents, compliance, and HR. You contract with us (Canadian company). Your employee reports to you for work, but we’re their legal employer.

 

Question 12: Am I directly employing someone?

Answer:Technically no—we’re the legal employer. Operationally yes—you control their day-to-day work, assign tasks, provide feedback. It’s like having your own remote employee without the HR complexity.

 

Question 13: What about employment contracts?

Answer:We draft and execute employment contracts in India following local law. Everything is documented and above-board. No gray areas.

Question 14: Is this legal in Canada/USA?

Answer:Completely legal. You’re using a legal company registed in Alberta, Canada to simplify international employment. It’s the same model used by big 4 companies.

Question 15: What taxes do I need to file?

Answer:This is simpler than hiring a local contractor as we have registed company in Alberta, Canada

ABOUT EXCLUSIVITY & DEDICATION

Question 16: Will my employee work for other companies?

Answer:No. Your employee works exclusively for you. This is our model—not shared with other clients. One person, one company, 100% dedication. We do it for data security reason.

Question 17: Is this really exclusive or do they work for 5 people?

Answer:Really exclusive. We track this and enforce it. If we ever find an employee is working for others, they’re terminated immediately and we find you a replacement. Exclusivity is non-negotiable for us.

Question 18: What if I don't like the person?

Answer:If it’s not a good fit (skill mismatch, communication issues, work quality), we find a replacement at no additional cost. We offer ongoing support for transitions, but the initial replacement is on us.

Question 19: What if the person quits?

Answer:Rare (3% annual turnover), but it happens. If your employee leaves, we recruit a replacement and have them onboarded within 2-3 weeks. Replacement is at the same cost—you don’t pay twice.

 

Question 20: How long do people typically stay?

Answer:Average tenure is 3.2 years. These are stable, full-time positions. People don’t job-hop. Compare this to freelancers (average 6-12 months) and you’ll see why dedication matters.
